When Dustin stumbles into Casersis and touches his magic amulet, Dustin's hint of elven blood starts a magical chain reaction that puts him in mortal danger.

The amulet's power begins to rewrite his DNA from human to elf, and if humanity finds out, he'll become a science experiment at best. But when Casersis senses the change, his first instinct is to hold Dustin captive.

Casersis wants his young potential mate to be safe and loved while he undergoes his magical change. Exiled from his home and throne by his son, and now a billionaire corporation owner, when Casersis issues commands, his people fall in line.

But Dustin is so independent that Casersis doesn't know how to hold onto him without suffocating his new lover.

Can Casersis keep Dustin safe by holding him against his will? Or will the threat of captivity erase the bond of trust they had just begun to form?

She can heal the dying, but the enemies of her people will stop at nothing to have her gift, her desire and love #UrbanFantasy #Romance by Tina Donahue

Two men—enemies of her people—will stop at nothing to have her gift, her desire and love

She can heal the dying… Two men—enemies of her people—will stop at nothing to have her gift, her desire and her love.

The Prophecy, Book 1

Trapped in a blood feud, Liz uses her healing power to bring Zeke Neekoma from the brink of death so her clan can exploit his prophecies. During the ceremony, she drapes her nudity over his, experiencing his building strength, the stunning pleasure of his caress as he takes her without warning, using her as he wills.

His hunger for a woman he's supposed to hate isn't what Zeke expected, nor does he intend to deny himself. Kidnapping Liz, he's resolved that she heal his brother Jacob ambushed by her people. At his stronghold, Zeke keeps Liz captive to his and Jacob's desires. The brothers pleasure her without restraint and in ways she's never known. Before, her life was filled with loneliness and wanting. Now…

Used by two powerful men, threatened by her clan's determination to get her back, Liz risks all as she surrenders to Zeke's and Jacob's lust, the ecstasy of their touch and her most traitorous needs.

Excerpt from Come Fill Me

He lay in the center of the king-sized bed. His breaths were quiet, his eyes closed, legs sprawled, one arm draped over his head as though he was sleeping.

The bullet holes in his muscular left pec contradicted that notion.

Forcing down a swallow, Liz pulled her attention from his wounds—three perfect black circles—to his face.

Her lips parted on a quiet sigh. Rarely had she seen a man wear such a look of serenity. So unlike the terror she'd witnessed on Carreon's features or those of his men when they'd been so close to death.

Zeke Neekoma was different. The words boyish and innocent came to mind, which Liz dismissed quickly.

Looking to be in his early thirties, he was no boy. Nor was he innocent. His size, surely six-three, his sharp, masculine features and powerful form were perfect for battle against men and pleasure with women.

Heat suffused Liz, making her limbs feel heavy and weak. She recalled what Carreon and his men had told her about Zeke, no doubt a mixture of truth and lies. Not knowing which was which, she moved deeper into the dimly lit room. Spanish-style lamps created pools of honeyed light, giving the space a sacred feel one might experience in a church. The cherry-wood four-poster dominated the sparsely furnished chamber, while a series of leather wing chairs—reserved for observers—circled the bed.

The man who'd been guarding Zeke left the room. Carreon and his men went to their seats, their weight causing the chairs' legs to scrape against the polished hardwood floor.

For one foolish moment, Liz thought the intrusive noise would cause Zeke to open his eyes and lose his blissful expression. That he'd ask why they'd pulled him from such blessed rest and what appeared to be happiness.

This man didn't want to be healed. Liz knew it in her soul; saw it in the upward curve of his beautiful mouth. Was he the same as her father, tired of fighting? Or was he welcoming the end so he could reunite with someone he'd loved?

His parents and siblings, perhaps…or a wife.

A new rush of warmth stung Liz's chest.

Disturbed by the sensation and her aching loneliness—the need for a powerful yet good man at her side—Liz recalled what Carreon's lieutenants had claimed the first night she'd come here.

"He'll murder our women and children so our line dies out, just as his kind have always wanted."

If that was the truth, then Zeke was no different from Carreon, who hunted the weakest, eliminating them first. Once more, she examined Zeke's face, lingering on his mouth. Instead of a sneer or a smirk, she imagined him smiling at her, his grin honest, reaching his eyes, his wanting of her obvious and—

Stop it.

What was the matter with her, indulging in a romantic fantasy when she was well aware of their people's conflict and unending hatred for each other? Even if Zeke wasn't a murdering psychopath, he wasn't likely to be stirred by a woman from an enemy clan. So why was he affecting her like this? Was it a power he had…or something else. Perhaps the truth as to who he really was?

Ignoring her persistent longing, Liz replaced it with a healthy dose of distrust. "This is Zeke Neekoma?"

"You sound surprised," Carreon said. "Why?"

About Tina Donahue

Tina is an Amazon and international bestselling novelist who writes passionate romance for every taste – 'heat with heart' – for traditional publishers and indie. Booklist, Publisher's Weekly, Romantic Times and numerous online sites have praised her work. She's won Readers' Choice Awards, was named a finalist in the EPIC competition, received a Book of the Year award, The Golden Nib Award, awards of merit in the RWA Holt Medallion competitions, and second place in the NEC RWA contests. She's featured in the Novel & Short Story Writer's Market. Before penning romances, she worked at a major Hollywood production company in Story Direction.

On a less serious note: she's an admitted and unrepentant chocoholic, brakes for Mexican restaurants, and has been known to moan like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally while wolfing down tostadas. She's flown a single-engine airplane (freaking scary), rewired an old house using an 'electricity for dummies' book, and is horribly shy despite the hot romances she writes.

Honor. Duty. Ritual. One of these may kill her #Excerpt The Last Vhalgenn by Kayelle Allen #FantasyBooks #Readers

Beneath the Gates: Colonies of Man #DarkFantasy #Mythology #Archaeology

The Last Vhalgenn - found inside Beneath the Gates

Honor, duty, and ritual rule her life, but one of these may kill her.

The Vhalgenn is the last of her kind, a companion bred to serve the king, and dedication to him burns in her blood.

When the queen begs for a secret blessing to save her newborn son, the Vhalgenn answers. But when she takes the babe to the queen's homeland for the ritual, what she discovers could topple the kingdom and overthrow the king.

To save the newborn prince, the Vhalgenn must abandon every last truth she holds sacred, and do the one thing that will destroy her own heart...

Excerpt

In this scene, Raik, the Vhalgenn, has taken the wetnurse and the newborn prince into the mountains. The one thing they must avoid is for the babe to be seen by his father, Orix, the king. Not until the child has been passed beneath the Gates of Life. This story is all from Raik's point of view.

The sun was straight overhead and despite the cool air of the foothills, my head felt baked. Time and again, I had to remove my hat and wipe my brow. When we reached an overlook, I fanned myself with the brim. Rising in the stirrups to look down, I followed the river's path.

A groan escaped before I could stop it.

"What's wrong?" Estria craned her neck to see.

"They made better time than I expected."

She squinted toward the river, a hand shielding her eyes. "From back 'ere, I can't see a bloody thing."

The small figures on horses, far below, followed the river. The horseman in front carried an emerald banner with streamers. The cream-colored horse in the center of the procession sported gold-trimmed black leather and bright emerald ribbons woven into its pale mane. He was never one for hiding who and what he was.

"Raik!" Estria backhanded my arm to gain attention. "If you don't tell me 'oo it is down there, I'll..."

"Orix. He's come to stop us."

Meet the agents of TRAIL from Beneath the Gates #SciFi #DarkFantasy

Beneath the Gates: Colonies of Man #DarkFantasy #Mythology #Archaeology

I plan to write about TRAIL, a company that exists in the far future, and is contemporary with my Tarthian Empire series.
The two do not overlap, and take place on different sides of the galaxy.

The meaning of the acronym TRAIL is Trace, Rescue, and Identification League. However, rival companies and independent agents have their own versions. Most common is Thieves, Ruffians, Assholes, Irritants, and Losers, followed by Their Roughneck Arbitration Is Laughable. The official company response is to grin and bear it, laughing while you cash your fat paycheck. The unofficial response is a quick jab to the mouth. Scars on knuckles are a thing of pride among agents.

The structure of TRAIL is formed loosely around the principle that independence is a good thing, provided it's not taken too far -- or too seriously. Agents report to a Field Director, who reports to the Board, the members of which are ultimately responsible to the President. No more than two steps are ever required for a decision, no matter how weighty. Agents have full authority to act with extreme prejudice if necessary to carry out their missions. That said, any time a death is involved, an outside agency steps in to confirm both the kill and the neccessity for it, occasionally resulting in more scarred knuckles.

The outside agency policing TRAIL's missions which result in a "negative life impact" (i.e., death) is STOP, Synthetic Technicians Optimized for Peacekeeping. TRAIL agents refer to the emotion-denied android group as Suspending, Terminating, and Omitting Pleasure.

TRACE is an officially disavowed department of trained assassins and snipers inside TRAIL, whose motto is "Without guilt." TRACE stands for Target Removal Assistance Classified: Extreme and these agents are the favorites of many world governments.

Currently, TRAIL agents are found in Trailing Kaiwulf, and will be in the upcoming story Return of the Vhalgenn.

Who says one person can fulfill all your desires? 🌶️📚 Triad, a #Romance by Lisabet Sarai @LisabetSarai #HotRead #Sizzle #LoveTriangle

Who says one person can fulfill all your desires? 🌶️📚 Triad by Lisabet Sarai

When my author friend, Lisabet Sarai, mentioned she had a new book out, I offered to share her news with you.

Who knew? By Lisabet Sarai

It had been months since I'd published any new titles. Meanwhile, my current WIP was proceeding at a snail's pace due to the demands of my day job, summer vacations, and other real world interruptions. So a few weeks ago, I decided to mine my back list and put together a boxed set to sell on Kindle Unlimited, to see if I could push my Amazon ratings back into positive territory.

I had a few stories in mind, romance tales in the twenty-thousand word region which were originally published years ago, and which might not be familiar to my current readership. (In addition, the KU audience doesn't overlap much with my usual readers.) I started with three titles. When I looked at the works I'd selected, I saw that they shared a focus on three-way relationships. Then, as I scanned my publishing history, I started to find additional stories on the same theme.

I ended up including six tales in the Triad collection (over 100K words). Actually, I identified a number of other candidates as well, but decided they weren't as good a fit. Indeed, when I examined the romance I'd written over the past decade and a half, I discovered that I'd written nearly as many threesomes as I had couples.

This was something of a revelation to me. I've always been attracted to polyamory, but I didn't realize how pervasive that interest had become in my writing. If you'd asked me what my "favorite" genre or theme was, I would have cited dominance and submission. But it seems three-way love is at least as common in my writing.

Who knew?

Triad by Lisabet Sarai

Sometimes one plus one equals three...

Why should soul mate be singular? Can one person really satisfy every need and desire?

Triad is a compilation of erotic romance tales about threesomes – not fleeting, lust-driven ménage a trois encounters but stable, loving relationships that involve three people. A long-married couple's ardor is rekindled when another man seduces each of them in turn. A lonely, embittered vampire finds redemption in the arms of his two young victims. A mistletoe kiss reawakens passion between old friends, until Suzanne discovers Gino already has a life partner. An alien pair offers love and immortality to the only survivor of a interstellar disaster.

Steamy and explicit, unapologetically romantic, Triad celebrates the joys of three-way polyamory.

Excerpt from Wild About that Thing

As the applause died down, Zeke and his boys struck the first chords of Rock Me Baby. Ruby launched into the rollicking tune, the driving beat automatically making her feel better.

"Rock me baby. I want you to rock me all night long.

Rock me baby, yeah, rock me all night long.

I want you to rock me baby, like my back ain't got no bone."

Zeke took up the second verse, giving her a chance to catch her breath. His sexy baritone vibrated deep in her stomach. He always managed to make this song sound deliciously dirty, especially when they sang it together.

They reached the bridge. Zeke's guitar wailed like a cat in heat. Ruby scanned the audience. Thirty or forty people at least, clustered around the tables or leaning against the bar. Practically every seat in the place was taken. Men predominated, but there were plenty of women, too. She saw black and white faces, age-grizzled hair and sleek, modern dos, ragged jeans and designer sweatshirts.

Young and old, black and white, rich and poor—everyone moved with the music. Everywhere she looked, her customers swayed to the beat—nodding their heads, shaking their shoulders or tapping their toes. That's the way it was with the blues. You couldn't help it.

Except for this one guy, who perched on a barstool pretty close to the stage. He had skin the color of espresso, a shaved head, aquiline features, and wire-frame glasses. The top two buttons of his white business shirt were open, the sleeves turned halfway up his forearms and the tails outside his trim jeans. His polished leather shoes looked expensive. The thing that drew Ruby's attention, though, was his aura of total concentration. One foot on the rung of the stool, he focused on the band, drinking in the music. His lips pressed together. His hands, decorated with gold rings, lay still on his taut thighs. He wasn't grooving with the rest of the crowd, but Ruby could tell he was swallowing up every note.

As though he felt the weight of her gaze, the man turned his face towards her. Their eyes connected. His were dark as midnight, deep as a grave.

About Lisabet Sarai

Lisabet Sarai became addicted to words at an early age. She began reading when she was four. She wrote her first story at five years old and her first poem at seven. Since then, she has written plays, tutorials, scholarly articles, marketing brochures, software specifications, self-help books, press releases, a five-hundred page dissertation, and lots of erotica and erotic romance – over one hundred titles, and counting, in nearly every sub-genre—paranormal, scifi, ménage, BDSM, GLBT, and more. Regardless of the genre, every one of her stories illustrates her motto: Imagination is the ultimate aphrodisiac.

The king must not stop the child’s ritual #Excerpt by Kayelle Allen #SciFi #Fantasy

Beneath the Gates – Fantasy, Archaeology, Science Fiction

In The Last Vhalgenn, it's imperative that Raik carries the newborn prince beneath the Gates of Life. But it must happen prior to being seen by his father, or, according to the superstitious queen, it will "offend the faery." She fears that the king seeing the baby might cause the death of the child. On her deathbed, the queen begs Raik to complete the ritual with the child.

The sun was straight overhead and despite the cool air of the foothills, my head felt baked. Time and again, I had to remove my hat and wipe my brow. When we reached an overlook, I fanned myself with the brim. Rising in the stirrups to look down, I followed the river's path.

Sneak Peek: Beneath the Gates by Kayelle Allen – Exclusive #Excerpt #SciFi #Fantasy

Beneath the Gates: Colonies of Man #DarkFantasy #Mythology #Archaeology

This scene from a bonus story at the end of The Last Vhalgenn, shows a dilemma facing King Orix.

My father lamented ever turning me into a soldier, but I'd seen enough war, growing up. I preferred to read about battles, not engage in them. The Qarthian army engaged the army of the Kellindahrii at every opportunity. Our first chance for peace came with my wedding to the daughter of a Kellindahrii nobleman. I agreed wholeheartedly.

Mother took sick at our marriage feast, but thankfully, my new wife had knowledge of herbs and healing potions. I was delighted that Dahr took such interest in tending to her. Despite fine care, Mother never recovered. Not long after, my father suffered with his heart. If it hadn't been for my wife, Father might have died sooner. How lucky I thought myself, having a bride with such skill. Father's death left me on the throne. I hoped his training would serve me in good stead.

North, outside our borders, a fledgling army threatened our positions and strongholds. Qarthian and Kellindahrii soldiers fought together, keeping our lands free of foreign rule. But it was a dear fight. The enemy grew stronger with every skirmish, increased in size after every battle.

During the months following our wedding, my wife made it clear she had no tolerance for our custom of the Vhalgenn. When Dahr became pregnant, I hoped she'd change her mind, but she refused. Raik could not cross Dahr's path without angering her. No matter how much Raik conceded, nothing was good enough. Dahr miscarried, and she blamed it on our cursed customs and insisted I send Raik away.

Banish Raik? The joy of my heart? Raik was the true love of my life and my finest advocate and advisor. I might have to marry to gain peace, but how could I send away my own source of peace?
