What I Write - What I Believe

I am not a political or religious writer. I am a writer who forms stories based on personal experience and the desire to change the world for the better.
Diversity is not part of life - it is life. I created a story universe where not every person is gay, and not every person is straight. In my worlds, there are more than two genders. There are different colors of skin. My stories and characters reflect different beliefs and different abilities.

In real life as well as my books, I stand with the LGBTQ+ community, and believe black lives matter. I support the Equal Rights Amendment, and am opposed to gender based violence. I believe in representation and the right to body autonomy. My books feature characters who deal with these issues in the course of their lives. From the matriarchal society of the Kin, who suppress male rights, to the injustice of slavery, I tell stories that not only entertain, they provide food for thought.

I strive to create a great roller coaster ride of a story that brings excitement, fun, and takes you in directions you didn't expect. At the end of the ride, it's my hope you'll declare "That was fun!" and get right back on to ride again.
