He even changes her name to Persephone—stealing the last bit of agency she still has. In the end, Kore is forced to let go of the world above. To survive her new role as Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, Kore will have to embrace the darkness and grow into the vengeful goddess she was always destined to be.
