The funeral home was packed. All the townsfolk coming out to pay their respects and say a final goodbye to one of the good ones.

Jamming their noses up my dad's ass and trying to move up the business ladder even after his death was more like it.
With about twenty minutes left in the scheduled viewing time, all I wanted was to sleep. I still had to get through the funeral the next day, but my brain was near shutdown mode, and I wasn't sure I could talk to one more person.
