Want to meet the immortal king?

Bless her heart, my dear Kayelle is under the impression she invented me. Or perhaps that's just what she tells her therapist.

But she asked so nicely for me to tell people about myself that I'm complying. "Meet the Immortal King" she calls it. I'll do my best.

My first name is pronounced pee-ah-toss, if you're curious. Pietas (the word itself) is one of the seven virtues and denotes devotion to family, especially to fathers. I'm certain when mine named me he hoped for a self-fulfilling prophecy. Anyone who knows my father knows what a farce that turned out to be.

For those who like to collect trivia about birthdates and such, I was born in Nevern, Wales, on Earth, in February 2620, just over the line for Pisces. I'm a scientist and find astrology to be interesting, but put little personal stock in it. My twin sister fancies herself a classic Pisces - intuitive to the point of psychic, able to see past facades, and people-smart. She also thinks she's emotionally intelligent. I will leave that for others to decide. Kayelle is a Taurus, stubborn, a great listener, and one of my favorite words: indefatigable.

My Enneagram type is 8, the Challenger. I readily claim the positive traits - protective, assertive, resourceful, straight-talking, and decisive. I prefer to remain firmly in control of myself, my surroundings, and where possible, those under my protection. Not overbearing, you understand, but fierce in using my strengths to guard my followers. I'm rather good at persuading others to follow me into all sorts of endeavors, some great, some not. I learned young that success requires strength, will, persistence, and endurance. I possess bucketsful of endurance.

Kayelle is a type 5, the Investigator. She just looked up "bucketsful" to see if it was the right word (it is). She's perceptive, innovative, and isolated. She's always alert and curious, and she possesses a vivid imagination. She lives in a literal world of her own, detached and high-strung while also intense. Trust me when I say she sees a different world from nearly everyone else.

My twin sister, Dessy, considers herself a type 1, the Reformer. Her basic desire is always strive to achieve whatever mission she has chosen to undertake. She longs to be good, have integrity, and balance. She strives to be right, to improve everything, and to be beyond criticism. She's also known as Rheyn Destoiya, the Empress in the Tarthian Empire. I'm afraid that last quality about criticism is far out of her reach. People consistently find fault with their leaders, even when they respect and support them.

I lean toward ENTJ - strategic, logical, efficient, ambitious, but I'm more of an "I" when you get right down to it. E's are extroverts. I'm able to deal with people and crowds, but afterward, I want alone time to recharge. Still, I do love a party and am often the last to leave. While I might have an "eternal" life, I don't waste time. There is always more to do, and I take responsibilities seriously.

Kayelle is an INFJ - idealistic, organized, dependable, compassionate. She lives and breathes peace and cooperation. When it comes to strategy - she holds that in aces.

My sister Dessy is more ESTJ - she's large and in charge, capable of running the show and knowing what's going on backstage. Things are done in an orderly fashion, or... Well, with my sister, there is no "or." It's just done right. Period.
