Sempervia—designated Ever-Living—is a terrestrial-class world located at the outermost edge of the mapped galaxy. Early surveys identified it as suitable for large-scale ecological exploitation, including lumber and game reserves. Terraforming operations were initiated and later abandoned.

Cessation of planetary development followed the surrender and capture of genetically enhanced entities designated as Ultras. Infrastructure was withdrawn before completion. No further expansion was authorized.

The environment remains partially altered. Atmospheric systems are unstable but functional. Indigenous ecosystems persist with minimal intervention and continue to adapt independently of human oversight.

A rudimentary settlement exists within a rocky region of the surface. Structures provide only basic shelter. Sustenance is obtained through foraging and limited hunting of small game. Subsurface cavities contain decommissioned cryogenic pods repurposed for habitation. Several units remain upright and partially powered, supplying minimal illumination.

Vegetation clearance has occurred in the immediate vicinity of the settlement. Beyond this perimeter, terrain remains unmanaged.

Exploration of the surrounding region documented a large caldera formation later designated Ayoli Crater. The structure measures approximately thirty-one miles in diameter and six hundred feet in depth. Interior conditions vary, comprising arid plains, forested areas, wetlands, and freshwater bodies. Fauna populations are sustained across multiple biomes. Geological analysis confirms historic volcanic activity.

Ambient wildlife activity is continuous across the caldera’s outer ring and interior zones. No artificial sound suppression or environmental dampening systems are present.

Sempervia’s isolation is persistent. No civilian traffic is recorded. The site remains restricted.

Ultra Memorial Site

Permanent Structure

A large-scale memorial structure has been established on the surface of Sempervia. Construction utilized decommissioned Ultra cradles recovered from planetary storage sites. No attempt was made to reduce or conceal their original form.

Total units incorporated: 3,125.

The memorial occupies uneven valley terrain and is arranged in a staggered cross formation. The layout prioritizes load distribution, access, and speed of construction. Vertical stacking does not exceed four units at the core and three units along the outer spans.

Overall dimensions are approximately:

• Length: ~260 meters (≈850 ft), tip to tip
• Width: ~90 meters (≈295 ft) at the widest point
• Height: ~3.6 meters (≈12 ft)

The structure is visible from significant distance while remaining traversable on foot. The central spine forms the primary mass, with offset arms extending laterally and diagonally. The configuration creates multiple corners and recesses suitable for pause and reflection. No decorative elements were added.

Units were used to stabilize terrain, reinforce load-bearing areas, and complete the formation. No future modification is planned.

The memorial is immovable. Its presence alters the surrounding landscape permanently.
