ALITUS, TALES OF THE CHOSEN

Cupid's Library Reviews
Reviewer: Susanne

The sex is very hot and steamy and there are quite some exciting scenes with Destoiya and her men, but also Alitus with Destoiya's friend and with Wulf, who makes an appearance along with the Harbinger, which was absolutely cool. All in all, I enjoyed the story, especially the sex scenes and the characters from former book - real good tale.

As these two larger than life characters discover new wonders and experiences that may just rock the entire universe, Kayelle Allen once again crafts a romance that lives forever in the mind of her readers. Kayelle tells a gripping sensuous tale of love and adventure between the steadfast Alitus Vivaldi and the Empress he serves. The new experiences that they discover together may just change the entire universe as Alitus sets out to face his greatest fear in the effort to win the love of his immortal mistress.

Alitus captures your attention with a vivid, graphic look into the relationship between himself and his Queen. Taking you through the emotional and sexual appetites of an immortal. Through political intrigues and unrest of their world.

I enjoyed reading Alitus! Kayelle Allen has created a complex and vibrant world with characters who are as complex as their surroundings. The scorching sex, with menages, m/m , BDSM, and vouyerism make this a delight! I highly recommend this.

Wulf is one of the finest Sci-fi books I ever read. Kayelle Allen creates a interesting world that seems real and tangible. The romance is filled with sexual tension that the reader can feel. Right from the beginning you are drawn in to this impeccable story.

Two Lips Review

The talented Kayelle Allen presents the first of The Chosen  series in the touching futuristic novel Wulf. Prepare for a highly sensual and adventurous tale involving the handsome superstar Wulf and the dangerously dominant Luc. Fasten your seatbelts for a wild and kinky ride! The heat level on this story is off the richter scale and I rate it a definite "thumbs up" for searing sensuality.

In WULF, Kayelle Allen has created a brand new universe of exotic aliens, modern technologies, and age old familiarities. A unique blend of the old and new that slips the reader unobtrusively into a passionate future of infinite possibilities where even what seems to be an impossible relationship can turn into a romance that lives forever. A great introduction story to her two previously published books,At the Mercy of Her Pleasure, and For Women Only, and a wonderful beginning for her brand new sensuous series, Tales of The Chosen.
JAWK, TALES OF THE CHOSEN

Jawk, Tales of the Chosen is good science fiction, and has some compelling world building. The sex is very hot and makes this an enjoyable read. ... The flow of events is smooth and handled well by Ms. Allen. The author did a good job with leading the reader along with clues, and such so that while you could not get the whole picture right away there were enough clues to keep you interested. This is a fun, sexy, romp, as well as a compelling read for those who enjoy m/m romance.

Kayelle Allen has crafted an intriguing tale that is engrossing while set in a rich universe and full of complex, if flawed, characters. Their story is gripping while waiting for some sort of resolution that delivers a satisfying ending for Luc, Wulf and Jawk. However, be warned that the book has a strong element of infidelity between the main characters. Jawk: Tales of the Chosen has a complicated plot that is hard to follow if the previous books in the series aren’t read before. I enjoyed Jawk: Tales of the Chosen immensely and I’m looking forward to the next installment of the series.

Khyff is finally free from his abusive master. He has deep-seated dislike towards the Kin, that is a result from his past. Now he is blackmailed by the Conqueror to seduce a Kin ambassador, otherwise his brother and his fiancé will rot in prison. Mehfawni is this Kin ambassador, and she is surprised that she feels so drawn to this human. As the story goes on it gets clear that Fawni is a heavensent gift for Khyff, that she is his salvation. This re-visit to the Tarthian Empire is as fantastic as the first trip in At the Mercy of her Pleasure. Khyff is a the typical tortured hero that is healed by Fawni's love. The reader gets all the details of his healing process and the wonderful growing love of those two, as well as their fight for their love against the old Kin tradition. As well as in the first book of the Tarthian Empire series you won't miss the hot and steamy sex scenes here. I hope that this book won't be last book set in the Tarthian Empire, because the world that Kayelle Allen created has so many interesting facets, that should be explored.

This is a complex tale, with many layers, and helped by its long length of over 200 pages. The author delves into the intricacies of everyday life on these fantastical futuristic planets. There are some fascinating concepts in For Women Only about the life on these planets created by Kayelle Allen that are both interesting and refreshing. There are also some really sensual and hot scenes between Khyff and Fawni. There secondary characters in this intriguing book help keep the story fresh and moving along at a fast pace. For lovers of futuristic and sci-fi stories this is a book I highly recommend.

Ms. Allen has both feet firmly planted in her futuristic alternate world. The true genius of Ms. Allen shows in the details of For Women Only. Things like refrigerator magnets that flash the daily specials from local restaurants, races of beings that based loosely on felines, hybrid, fabricated beings called Betters whose pheromones can entice, enslave and addict you. In the Kin world females rule, men are strictly for breeding and raising children. Not to sound feminist or anything, but I liked looking into this alternate reality and seeing the shoe on the other foot, so to speak. Khyff is a deeply scarred, scared man. His struggle with his fears becomes clear as the story unfolds. Fawni is a strong female character, who knows that her place in this world is on top. Ms. Allen does a great job creating a world where females hold most of the cards and males are primarily for pleasure. I usually avoid science fiction stories as a rule. They are difficult to understand for the most part and a lot of the time there are glaring mistakes where the author just couldn’t keep their ‘worlds  straight. I was delighted to find that this was not the case with For Women Only. Ms. Allen knows her planets and breeds inside out. This awesome, sexy read has made me wish I could visit Tarth.
AT THE MERCY OF HER PLEASURE

Novelspot Reviews
Reviewer:

Kayelle Allen builds a complex world of rebellion against the machine of a menacing and cruel caste system based on species and rank. There is a whole sense of a developed street language, and not just one dark culture of the street, but also an elite culture, and a military protocol developed by the androgynous leader of the resistance. At The Mercy Of Her Pleasure is an ambitious rendering of a world in turmoil with colorful characters struggling to achieve lives of autonomy. What a surprise to find such a multifaceted plot so intricately developed. A must read for fans of Science Fiction and Speculative Fiction.

Kayelle Allen’s world in this book is fabulous. Her ability to bring a universe to life for the reader is excellent. The story is well written, drawing the reader in and keeping them guessing from page one until the very end. She’s brought us mystery, political intrigue and twists and turns that will keep you enraptured even beyond the last page.

The plot for At the Mercy of Her Pleasure is solid, fantastical and well within the plausibility for Mrs. Allen’s futuristic world. The only small suggestion I could possibly make to enhance the work would be to add a dictionary of terms somewhere within the pages. There were a few times, during the read, that this reviewer became confused with Mrs. Allen’s uses but it didn’t distract from the story for long.

On the overall this story is a strong, firm introduction into a futuristic world that is a pleasure to read and enjoy. Mrs. Allen brings all the characters to life with a grand style that will leave you panting for more. Her sex scenes are steamy, erotic and very pleasurable and worked well with the overall plot. They never overshadowed the story on the whole, but only enhanced it for the reader.

Ms. Allen has created a wonderful story of two people overcoming obstacles to  achieve something neither one of them has ever had…love. Senth is a man who does  not know what a sexual relationship is like, but NarrAy is about to teach him everything  she knows. These two captured my imagination with how badly they both wanted each  other and what lengths they would go to get there. I enjoyed this author in the way she  was able to bring a family back together and create new one.
