The Authors Only Contest earlier this year provided two authors with the opportunity to have their characters brought to life by Nimajination Studios. The winners were S Quinn McAfee and Jennifer Mueller. Below are their characters - described by the authors and as envisioned by Jamin Allen of Nimajination.

Jennifer wanted an old-fashioned style picture as well. Jamin used photorealism to create the full color drawing and then colorized it to make the sepia tones.

Ben Tate (right) and the Marquis are alter egos. Jamin drew them within a frame made from their initials.
