DragonCon is held in Atlanta Georgia every year over the Labor Day weekend. Some families attend together, for others, it's a complete getaway from everyone and everything ... including reality. :)
Dressing up is part and parcel of the experience. Whether just a teeshirt advertising last year's or another con, to face painting, or an all-out rendition of the Predator or Iron Man-- costumes are everywhere.
