This unattractive planet registers no sign of life when scanned. However, when the Conqueror's Droid Discovery Force landed on the planet in 4650 tradestandard in search of minerals and other natural resources, they found a highly advanced civilization. The clouds and swirling gases that make it appear to be a gas giant are illusions. The inhabitants of Notidisia are peace loving, but the world has a long history of rebel activity against the empire.
Although it has a treaty with the Tarthian Empire and pays tribute to it, it has never been a full partner. There are four moons, all of which have important tactical locations and are used for mining. The Governor of Notidisia holds a special seat during the Imperial Parliament.
